S comme stéréo, Suède, Stockholm...































Mercredi : nouvelle lettre de l'alphabet "S" comme stéréoscopie, une visionneuse Underwood, des photos stéréo de Stockholm en 1900, une visionneuse Unis et des réclames pour des appareils de photo stéréo dans les années 1904-1905 .
ABC Wednesday, S as stereo viewer Underwood, S as Sweden (Sverige, Suède...) and Stockholm (Tuhkolma suomeksi), two stereo pics of Stockholm, a French stereo viewer Unis and some ads from the years 1904-1905.

I would have loved to see your photographs from Saariselkä, but at the same time I think you made smart choice, because those photographs from Stockholm looks as something that might have historical value.

These stereo viewers were very popular when I was growing up. Most people had them.

Very nice stereo viewer. I remember watching the older movies and seeing them use these... they were very popular then. You are lucky to own one of these.

I have one machine that´s similar to this. I even have new discs of Helsinki showing some new sights. It´s a nice machine and the 3d feel is quite real and strange too.
