L'église à pan de bois de Saint-Quentin de Mathaux abrite une piéce rare, un tableau provenant de l'abbaye de Basse-Fontaine. Ce tableau a été légué à la paroisse de Saint-Quentin à la fin du 18ème siècle après la fermeture de l'abbaye de l'ordre des Prémontrés. Ce tableâu vient d'être restitué à l'église après une restauration.The half-timbered church of Saint-Quentin in Mathaux owns a very beautiful painting which was in the abbey of Basse-Fontaine. This painting was given to Mathaux when the abbey was closed in the end of the 18th century. It has just come back from Troyes after being restored.

Mais l'église a été refaite et agrandie en colombages? Elle est curieuse on dirait une maison normande avec un clocher.
