Brienne le Château has few graffitis and they are not so fine. The water castle between the two Brienne (le château and la Vieile) has been decorated some months ago by an artist.
Two pics of peinted advertisements for newspapers : la Tribune de l'Aube on the previous café of the raiway station de Barberey and L'Est Eclair on a house in Marigny le Chatel .

It was open in 1862, gets its water from the river Aube near a mill which furnishes electric power.
Bossancourt, a village between Bar sur Aube and Dienville, has a very fine and strange public wash house from the year 1862. It gets its water from the river Aube. It has the shape of a semi U (half horseshoe) 2 meters wide. Its roof is covered by roman tiles called "tige de bottes" (bootleg as they were moulded on the leg of the tiler).

In 1997 the Swedish firm ASSA ABLOY has bought the locksmith factory Vachette which had used the walls of a previous hosiery factory Quincarlet-Dupont built in 1862. The white buildings look like scandinavian ones nowadays. (At least for me).
